How to use the planner
Pick the day your game is on using the tabs above, then tick tasks off as you do them. The planner remembers the selected day and your ticks in this browser, so you can close the tab between sessions and pick up where you left off. It does not read your save file, and it never will; it is a reminder list, nothing more.
When the in-game day changes, press Next day. When a new week starts, use Reset checklists to clear the ticks. Each day lists the jobs that are tied to that day plus a couple of preparation tasks for the day after, because most weekly mistakes come from arriving at the special day unprepared.
If you play in short sessions, open the planner when you start and glance at today’s list before leaving the house in the game. Thirty seconds of planning usually saves a week of waiting for Envy or Wrath to come round again.
What happens on each day
The game’s week has six days, named after the deadly sins, and each one has something that only happens then. Everything else, crafting, farming, building, exploring, works on any day. A full day is 7.5 real minutes, so the whole week passes in 45 minutes of play.
| Day | Fixed events | Prepare for tomorrow |
|---|---|---|
| Gluttony | Body at 13:12; PR Machine loading | Battle gear and defence power for Sloth |
| Sloth | Most battles can start | Collars and liquid for Lust evening |
| Lust | Body at 13:12; Linda takes green scrolls; device recharges at 23:45 | Prepared resurrection tables for Envy |
| Envy | All-day storm; resurrection device works | Certificates and goods to sell before Pride’s reset |
| Pride | Body at 13:12; trader limits reset at 00:14; town orders | Prayer in your backpack; check attendance for Wrath |
| Wrath | Weekly sermon | Free morgue space for Gluttony’s body |
A typical early-game week
Before the town opens, the week revolves around the morgue and the church. Process each body on the day it arrives: pick the pockets for blue points, take out what you can cleanly, and bury it in a finished grave. Sell the certificate to Januarius. In between, grow wheat, saw planks and smelt bronze for whatever the current quest wants.
Wrath is the one day you should never miss once the church is open. A sermon is your only source of Faith, and there is no catch-up if you skip it. Before you have zombies, Envy and Sloth are quiet days, which makes them good for long crafting jobs and exploring.
Field note: Bury the Pride body before Wrath. Graveyard quality adds to the money a successful sermon pays, so a finished grave on Pride is paid back on Wrath.
A typical mid-game week
Once you have zombies and the port is open, the week fills up. Sloth becomes battle day, so Gluttony is for checking your sword and armor, brewing healing potions and paying a mercenary. Lust is for preparing resurrection tables in the evening, so that the device can raise everything at once on Envy. Pride brings new town orders and the deadline for last week’s crates on the warehouse pallets.
Wrath stays the anchor. Preach first, then use Town Gratitude to refill happiness without wasting any above the cap. The planner’s checklists are written with this rhythm in mind.
The most common weekly mistakes
Sleeping through Envy is the classic one. Sleep runs the world about fifty times faster and you wake when energy is full, so a long sleep started late on Lust can end after the storm has passed. Check the HUD when you wake. The second is a full morgue at 13:12 on a delivery day, which means the donkey skips you. The third is forgetting the prayer in your backpack on Wrath.
None of these are permanent. Every gated job comes round again in six days. The planner just helps you not lose the week.
- Envy: raise prepared bodies before the day ends.
- Gluttony, Lust, Pride: free a morgue slot before 13:12.
- Envy: sell certificates before Pride’s 00:14 reset.
- Wrath: carry a prayer and preach.
Guides for each day’s job
Each day’s main job has a full guide behind it. If a task on the checklist keeps going wrong, the matching guide explains the rules in detail, with the quantities and thresholds you need.
The calendar itself has its own guide too, with the exceptions to each rule: battles that can start on any day, the God of the storms buff that lets the resurrection device work outside Envy, and the very first sermon, which you can hold the day the church opens.
- Gluttony, Lust and Pride: corpse deliveries The 13:12 schedule, morgue capacity and the delivery chance.
- Sloth: starting and winning battles Sword and armor, defence power, squads and structures.
- Lust and Envy: raising zombies Preparing tables, collars and the weekly device charge.
- Pride: trading and the weekly reset Buy lists, prices and happiness from sales.
- Wrath: sermons and Faith Attendance, prayers and what Faith is for.
- The full calendar guide Day lengths, sleep and every exception.
Where your ticks are saved
The planner stores the selected day and the ticked tasks in your browser’s local storage, on your device only. Nothing is sent to us, and there is no account. Clearing this site’s browser data removes it. If your browser blocks storage, the planner still works for the current visit and says so below the checklist.
Common questions
Does the planner read my save?+
No. It is a manual checklist. Pick the day you are on in the game and tick tasks yourself.
How long is an in-game day?+
7.5 real minutes. A week is 45 minutes.
Which day is resurrection?+
Envy. The device recharges at 23:45 on Lust and gives one use per week.
Which day are sermons?+
Wrath, once per week.
Can I use the planner on my phone?+
Yes. It works in any modern browser, and the ticks are saved on that device.
What happens if I miss a day’s job?+
It waits for the next week. Missing Envy delays your zombies, missing Wrath costs that week’s Faith, and missing Sloth delays the battle. Nothing is lost for good.
Why are there only six days?+
That is how Graveyard Keeper 2’s calendar works: six days named after sins, repeating. The planner follows the same order, starting on Gluttony.
Should I tick tasks that do not apply yet?+
No need. Early on, battles, Linda’s scrolls and town orders are not open yet. Skip them until the story unlocks them; the checklist is a reminder, not a score.
Can I plan more than one week ahead?+
The planner tracks one week at a time, since every week repeats the same six days. Reset the ticks when Gluttony comes round and start again.
